Zirkon Security is the security program of our yacht rental platform, designed to provide unparalleled peace of mind and safety for both guests and listing owners. It represents Zirkon’s commitment to ensuring that every yacht rental experience is secure, smooth, and satisfying.
Reservation Guarantee
Failure to Check In
With a confirmed reservation, guests receive the listing owner’s contact information. If check-in issues arise—such as the yacht not being available, the owner being unresponsive, or unresolved problems—Zirkon Security intervenes. We assist in finding a similar yacht, or if rebooking is not desired or possible, we offer a refund or date change.
Force Majeure & Weather-Related Issues
In unexpected situations such as quarantine, travel restrictions, or severe weather, flexibility is provided. Reservation payments are protected, and guests are offered full refunds, the ability to postpone their booking, or both.
Cancellation by the Listing Owner
If the listing owner cancels 60 days or more before check-in, we assist in finding a comparable yacht, or if rebooking is not possible or wanted, we offer a refund or alternative solutions.
Shortened Rental Duration
If the rental duration is shortened due to unforeseen circumstances by 6 hours or 1/10 of the total rental time (whichever is shorter), we refund the unused portion or extend the rental duration accordingly.
Major Differences in Listing Details
If the yacht significantly differs from the description and the owner cannot resolve the issue, Zirkon Security steps in. We help find an alternative yacht of similar quality or, if rebooking is not an option or not preferred, offer a full or partial refund.
Safety and Assurance
Enhanced Safety Standards
Zirkon Security mandates that all yachts listed on the platform are equipped with essential safety equipment—including life vests, communication tools, and navigation aids—and comply with both local and international safety regulations. In addition, Zirkon collects insurance and all official documents from the yachts listed. Only once these documents are verified and approved by our company are listings made available for booking. No yacht owner can be listed without completing all required documentation. All documents and policies are stored, verified, and controlled within our systems.
Distance Sales Agreement
At the time of payment, a dynamic contract is created in accordance with MYBA (Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association) standards, detailing the service terms, payment conditions, and cancellation/change policies.

One of the cornerstones of Zirkon Security is its commitment to resolving disputes fairly and effectively. Our dedicated support team mediates any issues regarding yacht conditions, cancellations, or inconsistencies, ensuring fair resolutions for both guests and listing owners. Zirkon Security is more than a protection program—it is a commitment to ensuring every journey on the water is smooth and enjoyable. Guests and owners alike can be confident in a secure, reliable, and unforgettable rental experience.
How Does Zirkon Security Work for Guests?
Zirkon Security is designed to provide a flawless and safe yacht rental experience, offering robust support for significant concerns that may arise before or during the rental. This protection applies in cases of serious reservation issues (such as last-minute cancellations by owners) or discrepancies between the yacht and key listing features (e.g., fewer cabins than advertised, a different yacht type, or missing essential features like a listed deck pool).
Initial Contact
If any issue arises, your first step should be to contact the crew or yacht owner. Many concerns can be quickly and effectively resolved through direct communication. You can document these interactions using your yacht details, reservation form, and Zirkon message inbox conversations.
Contact Zirkon Travel
If the issue is not resolved after contacting the crew or owner, or if no response is received in a reasonable time, the next step is to reach out to Zirkon Travel. Provide a detailed explanation of the issue, along with any supporting evidence such as photos or videos.
Review and Verification
Once your complaint is received, the evidence will be reviewed. If the documents provided are deemed sufficient or both the guest and owner confirm the issue, the Zirkon Security process will be activated directly.
Resolution Process
If there is a discrepancy between the guest’s account and the owner’s, or if more verification is needed, a resolution process will begin. This aims to assess the situation fairly and determine the most appropriate course of action.
Outcome and Activation of Zirkon Security
The outcome of the resolution process will determine whether Zirkon Security applies. If the guest’s concerns are deemed valid and covered under Zirkon Security, appropriate steps will follow. This could include helping to find a similarly priced and equipped yacht in emergency cases or issuing a full or partial refund depending on the situation. Zirkon Security’s structured approach ensures that every concern is addressed fairly and thoroughly, maintaining the highest standards of guest satisfaction and rental quality.
