Cancellation Policies Overview

Transparent cancellation policies implemented on the Zirkon Travel private yacht rental platform are designed to protect the rights of all parties and ensure fair service. Below are detailed provisions regarding various cancellation scenarios:

When the Renter Fails to Take Delivery of the Boat:
If the renter does not cancel the reservation but fails to take delivery of the boat:

  • The service fee charged by Zirkon Travel is deducted from the reservation amount.

  • After deducting the service fee, the remaining amount is paid to the boat owner.

  • If the full reservation amount has not been collected, the collected amount before the service fee deduction is transferred directly to the boat owner.

 

Reservation Cancellation After Free Cancellation Period:
If the renter cancels the reservation after the free cancellation period:

  • The boat owner must issue an invoice to the renter within 5 business days from the cancellation date and send a scanned copy of the invoice to: muhasebe@zirkontravel.com

  • If the invoice is not provided, payments cannot be made or previously made payments may be reclaimed.

 

Cancellation by the Listing Owner:
Zirkon Travel advises listing owners to avoid cancellations unless due to force majeure. Such cancellations may cause significant inconvenience to renters. In cases where the listing owner cancels:

  • The listing owner must immediately inform Zirkon Travel of the cancellation.

  • The renter’s payment must be refunded within 3 business days at the latest.

  • The service fee charged by Zirkon Travel will be deducted from the listing owner's future bookings.

 

Renter's Right to Leave a Review:
In the event of a cancellation, the renter has the right to leave a review about the listing owner. Poorly managed cancellation processes may lead to negative reviews and harm the owner’s reputation among other users.
