GENERAL EXPLANATION AND DEFINITIONS
This information notice (“Information Notice”) has been prepared by Zirkon Travel Technology and Tourism Inc. (“Company”), located at Merkezi Yanıklar Mahallesi, Kanalbaşı Caddesi, No:86/1, Fethiye, Muğla / Turkey, MERSIS number 123456789101112, in compliance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), in the capacity of data controller, to inform and enlighten you about the processing of your personal data within the scope of your commercial relationship with us, within the membership framework of our www.zirkontravel.com website and Zirkon Mobile Application (“Mobile App and Site”) and/or within the scope of our contractual relationship with you.

The definitions used in this Information Notice carry the meanings specified in the KVKK and related legislation. Some key definitions are as follows:

  • Explicit Consent: Refers to consent given for a specific subject, based on information and expressed freely.

  • Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

  • Processing of Personal Data: Encompasses all operations performed on personal data, such as collection, recording, storage, preservation, alteration, rearrangement, disclosure, transfer, acquisition, classification, or prevention of use, either partially or entirely by automatic means or in non-automatic ways as part of a data recording system.

  • Data Processor: A real or legal person acting on behalf of the data controller, based on its authorization, in processing personal data.

  • Data Recording System: Refers to any structured set of personal data processed according to specific criteria.

  • Data Controller: The real or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for establishing and managing the data recording system.

Name, surname, phone number, email address, address, date of birth, gender, languages spoken
Profile photos, maritime licenses, and documents/permits related to boat operation
Other information provided by members via membership forms or “About” sections on our platforms

Category II: Member Information, Transaction Records, and Financial Data
Member identity information, member number, service usage information
Invoice and payment details, shared comments and responses to these comments

Category III: Information Identifying Boat Owners
Boat descriptions, boat name and technical specifications
Documents indicating boat ownership

Category IV: Transaction Security Information
Passwords and other security information

Category V: Cookie Records and Other Automatically Collected Data
Other personal data collected automatically during the use of the site and mobile application

Zirkon Travel does not collect or process any special categories of personal data.

PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • To query boat availability, make reservations, and establish rental contracts

  • To respond to customer support requests and resolve complaints

  • To manage financial and accounting procedures

  • To carry out the Company’s marketing activities and ensure customer satisfaction

  • To fulfill legal obligations

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data may be transferred in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK to:

  • Our company affiliates, business partners, and shareholders

  • Our product and service providers

  • Cloud computing and server service providers

  • To learn the recipients of your personal data

  • To object in case of unlawful processing

EXPLICIT CONSENT TEXT

I have read and fully understood the Information Notice presented to me by Zirkon Travel (“Company”) under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”).
I consent to the processing and storage of my identity, contact, health, and customer transaction data for the purpose of evaluating reservation cancellations, refunds, or modification requests.
I also accept that the Company may share my personal data with authorized public institutions, boat owners, and third-party service providers.
